Very informative. Thank you very much for taking the time to produce the video.
Thanks for that information…I had no clue! And I love my coffee, so I appreciate the efforts of Mr. Greenwell and all of the farmers who bring that coffee to my table here in Louisiana.
Tom I have to take a minute to tell you how much my family enjoyed our visit to your amazing coffee farm in December! We were blown away by the kindness and knowledge of your employees, quality of your coffee and we took away wonderful memories that we will never forget! It truly made our first visit to the Big Island something very special. We have a new respect for you all and still can’t believe how many factors are critical for success in your business. We are sorry to hear of the rust fungus that you are dealing with but it sounds like you are making progress which I’m sure has been a labor of love, expense from trial and error! When we tasted your coffee I could not believe the quality. When we were finished with our tour with amazing Dave, we pretty much cleaned out your souvenir store and coffee! As I sit here in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania I am enjoying a cup right now. My 20 year old daughter Ashley who is going to college to become a doctor is wearing your bright green t-shirt! My youngest daughter Sydney who is 18 and is in college to become a nurse is wearing one of your hats. I love the coffee holder I got that is air tight, such a neat concept, the mango coffee scooper, and many, many other wonderful things we purchased and enjoy every day! The coffee we fell in love with the most and brought back with us is your Full City Roast and Macadamia Nut. It’s heaven in a cup! The one thing I don’t understand is why I don’t get jittery drinking your coffee?! I am usually stuck with decaf as all the “others” make me very jittery after just a cup. Not yours! Why is that? My dream would be to move to your area and work for such a fine man and give my sweat and love into your farm. I mean that!!! You’re a rare gem Tom. Dave made that very evident in our tour. God bless you, all your employees and I sure hope this years proves to be much better than last! Take care- Diane Pesarsick
It’s great hearing from Tom. Keep those interviews coming!
PS: Matt…….I want your job 😉
Very much enjoyed the video and looking forward to my next visit.
Great promotion idea ! Always nice to here from the islands and also to know the stewardship of the land is in the hands of people who care for the environment and not just reaping the benefits of paradise. The title caught my eye first as IZ has an album called Facing the Future which plays often here at home in Ontario Canada.
Looking forward to the next installment and planning our next visit to Kona (it will be number 18) cant wait
